Product preview of the Sources page, illustrative data
What it does
Your most-cited domains, ranked
The domains cited most in your measured answers, ranked by citation count, with first and last seen dates from the last 30 days. Filter by engine and date range in the dashboard header; for windows under a year, All Models keeps each engine's top 25 so no one engine crowds out the rest.
The exact pages, not just domains
The URLs view ranks the specific pages engines pulled into answers by per-page citations, so you see which of your pages get cited and which competitor pages do.
Sources sorted by type
Every domain is labelled owned, competitor, forum, review, editorial, media, blog or other, so you can tell whether engines lean on community threads, review sites or the press.
Gap analysis in one toggle
Narrow the list to sources cited in answers where your own site is never cited or, once Content Gap has read the page, where your brand does not appear. Those are the places to get listed, mentioned or linked.
Citation trends
A daily chart of total citations over the last 30 days. LLM Mentions adds monthly corpus history back to August 2025 and weekly new and lost citations.
Corpus and backlink context
LLM Mentions finds ChatGPT and Google AI answers that cite your domain or name your brand. Backlinks shows the referring domains and anchors behind your authority.
Three steps, start to finish

Step 1: Track your buyer prompts
Add the questions your buyers ask. Scans run on your plan's cadence and record every source each engine cites in its answer.
Step 2: Read the source list
Open Sources to see cited domains and pages ranked by citations, typed by source, with your own site and your tracked competitors' domains labelled.
Step 3: Close the gaps
Turn on gap analysis, then check LLM Mentions, Backlinks and Content Gap to decide where to pitch, publish or get listed first.

Common questions
Which AI engines does Measure capture cited sources from?
Measure records the sources cited in its own scans of your tracked prompts on ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude, run via API with web search on. Perplexity is scanned daily and the other three weekly on Starter, Pro and Advanced; Enterprise scans every engine daily.
How does Measure decide a cited source is a gap?
A cited domain counts as a gap when none of the answers that cite it also cite your own domain; once Content Gap has analyzed that page, its check for your brand on the page takes over. Turn on gap analysis on the Sources page and the list narrows to those domains, the places worth pitching, getting listed on or publishing to.
Can I see which of my own pages AI engines cite?
Yes. Your domain is labelled owned in the source list, and the URLs view ranks the exact pages engines cited by per-page citation count, so you can see which of your pages get pulled into answers and which competitor pages do.
How is LLM Mentions different from the Sources page?
Sources covers only the answers from your own tracked prompts. LLM Mentions searches a third-party DataForSEO corpus of ChatGPT and Google AI answers (US, English) for ones that cite your domain or name your brand, with the question, the answer, its sources and AI search volume. The two numbers differ by design.
Does Measure track citations across the whole web?
No. Cited sources reflect the answers Measure measured for your prompts, and the LLM Mentions corpus covers ChatGPT and Google AI answers in the US. Backlink data comes from the DataForSEO index, not from Google.
